Repeat attempts at completing 'Everspace' bring access to better ship upgrades in the game.

Inspired by the Friday the 13th slasher film franchise and crowdfunded through a successful 2016 campaign, Friday the 13th: The Game arrives nearly a year after a somewhat conceptually similar Dead by Daylight. Players await stable multi-player servers and a single-player campaign now due later in the year.

By contrast, Everspace has been very eagerly received, sending players on a focused and gorgeously-rendered single-player mission across a succession of space encounters, allowing for plenty of narrow escapes and unexpected discoveries along the way.
