Acer’s Predator 21 X laptop, which costs a whopping RM39,999, is now available in Malaysia.

The laptop is so premium that the Taiwanese tech giant is only making 300 of them, and only one unit will be on sale in Malaysia, making it one of the most exclusive gaming laptop in the world.

Acer claims that the Predator 21 X is the world’s first laptop with a curved 21in (2,560 x 1,080 pixels) display with an ultra-wide ratio of 21:9 for a more immersive gaming experience and a high refresh rate of 120Hz for smoother gameplay.

Under the hood it has a 7th generation Intel Core i7 quad-core 2.90GHz processor,  64GB RAM and two Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics chips working in tandem.

It also features SoundPound 4.2+ (four speakers and two subwoofers) and Dolby Audio technology for the best sound quality.

For storage it has a 1TB hard disk drive and two 512GB SSDs (solid state drives).

To keep the laptop cool during intense gaming sessions, Acer has fitted it with five fans.

Other features include Killer DoubleShot Pro which uses both Ethernet and WiFi for high-speed Internet gaming and the keyboard’s backlit keys can be customised with up to 16.7 million colours.

The Predator 21 X comes bundled with the ultra-durable Pelican carrying case which claimed to be watertight, crushproof and dustproof.

Gamers eager to experience the Predator 21 X can check it out at Acer’s roadshow at IOI City Mall in Putrajaya from now until May 21.

If you have the budget, you will have to contact the company via e-mail (ama.marcom@acer.com) to buy it.
