Kaspersky: Attacks on SMBs on the rise

Downloading content illegally may seem like a victimless crime but it is a civil and criminal offence.

NO business is too small or insignificant to draw cybercriminals’ interest, says Kaspersky Lab SEA general manager Sylvia Ng.  

According to the Kaspersky Security Network, 24,471 attempts to block access to corporate data were detected and repelled by Kaspersky Small Office Security in the third quarter of last year, compared to 3,224 similar attacks in the same period of 2015.
