Tesla to recall 53,000 cars over parking brake issue

Beyond cars: Musk unveiled solar-powered roof tiles that eliminate the need for traditional panels and a longer-lasting home battery.

Tesla Inc said on April 20 it would recall 53,000 of its Model S and Model X cars globally to fix a parking brake issue.

Shares of the US luxury electric car maker were down nearly 1% at US$302.77 (RM1,330.98) in afternoon trading, following its biggest ever recall.
