Pay up if you don't want to wait: that's how many so-called free-to-play games work, experts say. 

Downloading the app won't cost you a thing, but after a while, the game will introduce annoying waiting times. Anyone who has taken a liking to the game and wants to stick with it will basically find themselves forced into buying game components in order to reduce the waiting time.
