Nintendo’s Switch goes on sale targeting new videogaming niche

Nintendo Co’s test of whether it can combine mobile and home gaming with a single machine begins on March 3 with the debut of Switch, its next-generation console. 

Stores in Tokyo began selling a limited number of units early, with brisk sales around the city and few signs of supply constraints. Deliveries of pre-orders will make up the rest of the 2 million units slated to be available in the first month.
