Now you can live stream in 360° with Ricoh's latest video camera

Fully spherical images: The camera is capable of streaming 360

The Japanese imaging and electronic company Ricoh announced that its newest camera is the "first camera capable of delivering up to 24 continuous hours of fully spherical, 360° live video streams.

"The RICOH R Development Kit  claimed to be the first 24-hour spherical live-streaming camera – is now available for pre-order, with shipments to start rolling out in May 2017 at a price of US$499 (RM2,215) . 

Images are stitched together in real-time, and the camera is capable of streaming 360° images in 2K resolution at 30 frames per second. Ricoh is launching its latest creation through a 24-hour broadcast during the Mobile World Congress (Feb 27 to March 2) in Barcelona, Spain.
