The next level of gaming: Samsung has a variety of 4K HDR TVs available, including many lower-priced models.

The age of 4K gaming has begun. Both Sony and Microsoft launched new consoles this fall that support 4K entertainment. Sony's PlayStation 4 Pro (US$400/RM1,790) offers 4K games like The Last Guardian, NBA 2K17, Final Fantasy XV and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided that also support HDR (high dynamic range) lighting that brings the virtual worlds to life like never before. (PlayStation 4 owners will also be able to experience HDR on these games in standard high definition – as long as your TV supports HDR.)

PS4 Pro also offers 4K streaming entertainment through services like Netflix 4K and YouTube 4K. Microsoft's Xbox One S (US$300/RM1,340) offers both 4K streaming and playback of the new Ultra HD 4K movie discs (something Sony's PS4 Pro does not include), but does not offer 4K games yet.
