Pokémon Go creators launch game in Rio ahead of Games

RIO DE JANEIRO: Creators of Pokémon Go said on Aug 3 the blockbuster mobile game has been released in Brazil just in time for the Rio Olympics which start on Aug 5. 

A spokesman for the game's publisher Niantic confirmed in an e-mail that "the app is currently rolling out across all of Central and South America."
