Daimler invests €3bil in clean diesel technology

FRANKFURT: Daimler said it will spend €3bil (RM13.68bil) to curtail diesel exhaust pollution levels by modifying its engines and exhaust treatment systems including through a software update for some Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. 

The €3bil (RM13.68bil) includes a €2.6bil (RM11.86bil) investment announced in February.
