Go anywhere: The iBot motorised wheelchair can travel across uneven terrain and even climb up a flight of stairs.

Remember the iBot? No it’s not a robot vacuum cleaner, but a motorised wheelchair launched by inventor Dean Kamen (the inventor of the Segway) way back in 1995.

The iBot ended production some time in 2009, largely because it cost US$25,000 (about RM102,000) to get one.
