With Tomb Raider approaching its 20th anniversary in October 2016, game developer Crystal Dynamics has published a short video from 1998 which was never officially released.

The 8.30-minute video, entitled The Trilogy, features a game developer being interrogated by two sceptical police officers when he talks about his 'girlfriend', Lara Croft.

The video was showcased only once, for a launch party in 1998. Producer Janey de Nordwell recently discovered the original tape, making it possible to publish it online.

Other celebrations are also planned for Lara's 20th birthday. Crystal Dynamics have produced an album with songs composed by Nathan McCree and recorded at the Abbey Road Studios.

The book 20 Years Of Tomb Raider, containing unseen interviews and pictures, will also be released in October. — AFP Relaxnews
