Italy claims over €200mil from Google as tax battle intensifies in Europe

ROME: Italy is demanding Google pay over €200mil (RM901mil) in back taxes following an inquiry into its tax arrangements by the financial police, a judicial source said. 

The technology giant is accused of failing to declare €100mil (RM450.50mil) in income and pay €200mil (RM901mil) in royalty taxes, the source said.
