Special preview: Apple opened the doors of its design lab on 60 Minutes.

American viewers were treated to a special behind-the-scenes tour of the tech giant's ‘secret' design lab with American journalist Charlie Rose.

Apple's chief designer Jony Ives accompanied Charlie Rose on a visit of the company's design studio at Apple headquarters, giving viewers some insight into the ‘future' of Apple products.

Captured images of the footage were published on the 60 Minutes Twitter account.
