Fingerprint Cards ups 2015 sales forecast on phone sensor demand


Booming business: The raised guidance was due to a number of recently-received large orders, a sign of burgeoning demand and the company's ability to deliver, Fingerprint said.

STOCKHOLM: Swedish biometric technology firm Fingerprint Cards raised its 2015 sales forecast for the fourth time this year as demand increases from makers of smartphones and tablets. 

The company said it now expects revenue of more than 2.5bil Swedish crowns (RM1.24bil), up from its previous guidance of around 2.5bil crowns (RM1.24bil). Its shares were up 8.1% at 0753 GMT.
