WASHINGTON: New automotive safety technologies available today could sharply reduce road accidents in the United States, saving thousands of lives and billions in societal costs, researchers said.
The study by Boston Consulting Group said available systems like automatic braking and lane control assistance technology could reduce the number of accidents by 28%.
