Adults owed US$51bil globally by loved ones, says PayPal study

Money matters: PayPal's recent study shows adults are owed an average of US$450 by loved ones.

PayPal has released a new PayPal Money Habits Study, showing that adults across varying regions are owed an average of US$450 (RM1,886) from friends and family. 

The study, which surveyed 4,000 consumers from the US, Canada, Germany and Australia, showed that one-third of adults had ruined a relationship over loaned money.
