Upcoming video games: The Swindle, Angry Birds 2, King's Quest

Among titles releasing the week of July 28, world-saving burglary simulator The Swindle arrives on consoles and computers, Angry Birds 2 takes flight on Android and iOS, and a new King's Quest game takes us back to King Graham's beginnings.

Can you, as a steampunk Victorian thief, break into a variety of well-guarded buildings to pilfer fat stacks of virtual cash without being caught? Do well enough and you'll have a chance to steal the Devil's Basilisk and save the world. But with only 100 days, time is running out, and with randomly generated levels, you'll need quick wits and accrued wisdom to survive.

King's Quest: A Knight to Remember (360, PS4, PS3, WinPC, XBO)

A five-chapter episodic adventure that becomes the ninth entry to a fondly remembered franchise and the first core addition in 17 years, with the elderly King Graham recounting some of his earlier japes to granddaughter Gwen. Developed by the studio behind The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom and Neil Gaiman collaboration Wayward Manor.
