Chinese telecoms company ZTE has unveiled the ZTE Blade D6 and its first ever smart home gateway, the ZTE SmartHome.
The two devices, which made their debut at the Mobile World Congress Shanghai, demonstrate the brand's interest in the smart home revolution.
The ZTE SmartHome enables users to communicate with everyday home devices from light switches to baby monitors via wireless protocol ZigBee, as well as 4G LTE connections via a mobile application for smartphones and tablets.
Meanwhile, the ZTE Blade D6 features a qual-core 1.3GHz chipset and 2GB of RAM, despite weighing just 120g and having a thickness of 6.95mm. Designed with selfie lovers in mind, it also sports an 88° wide-angle, 5-megapixel front-facing camera. — AFP Relaxnews
