Drone postal deliveries begin in Switzerland

AWESOME: A drone carrying a mail box of Swiss Post flying above the airport of Bellechasse, Switzerland during a press conference. Swiss Post started a series of test for parcel delivery by drone in the alpine country that has many isolated villages in valleys surrounded by mountains.

Switzerland’s postal service said it had begun testing parcel deliveries by unmanned drones, although widespread use of the flying postmen is not likely to kick in for another five years.
