The world's biggest smartphone maker is in talks with LoopPay, a mobile wallet and payments start-up, about a tie-up that could turn Samsung smartphones into virtual credit cards accepted at a larger number of stores than any other existing service, ApplePay included.
Apple issued a statement announcing that it had added another 10 banks to its existing list of 23 credit card-issuing financial institutions that now support its ApplePay smartphone-powered mobile payments service.
