Heineken is set to unveil its inaugural interactive Pop-Up City Lounge during the London Design Festival.

Following a huge crowdsourcing campaign, the beer brand commissioned 20 international designers from all over the world to design the lounge inside two shipping containers.

The goal of the campaign, which launched in 2013, was to perfect "the design DNA of a great night out and create a unique urban experience," with thousands of social media users Instagramming ideas about what constituted the perfect lounge bar.

The slick concept has been designed by a team of young creatives from Singapore, Poland, the US and Mexico.

The lounge will debut at Tent London during the 2014 London Design Festival this fall, before embarking on a worldwide tour.
