No Wii U version for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare


BLOCKBUSTER TITLE: Highly anticipated by fans of the franchise, "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC from Nov 4.

Game publisher Activision has decided not to release the next instalment in its popular shooter series on Nintendo's next-generation console. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is due for launch on Nov 4 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. 

Michael Condrey, who co-founded Sledgehammer Games and is developing the latest Call of Duty game, announced the news on Twitter, adding that it was Activision's decision to forgo a Wii U version and focus instead on Microsoft and Sony's next-generation consoles and PC.
