Starbucks loyalty card goes virtual

You can now leave your Starbucks card at home -- the company has launced an app that allows you to store all your cards virtually. Once the app is installed, customers can pay for their drinks with their smartphones by holding it in front of the counter’s scanner.

Starbucks Card mobile application enables quick and convenient in-store payments along with a loyalty programme that rewards customers. It's all part of Starbucks’ innovation to enrich the lives of our customers,” said Starbucks Malaysia and Brunei managing director Sydney Quays.
