New York commuters will be able to stay connected underground, thanks to the introduction of free WiFi in several subway stations throughout the city.
Phase Two of the Transit Wireless and Metropolitan Transportation Authority's wireless project is officially underway, and the work will provide free WiFi for 40 subway stations and up to an extra 250 million passengers annually.
