Nokia presents latest low-cost smartphone: Lumia 525

In terms of technical characteristics, the new Lumia 525 has a 4in  screen (800x480 pixels), a dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The phone also has a 5MP camera and the HERE navigation apps suite, which includes detailed maps and information on public transport systems and local points of interest.

The new model is positioned as a direct competitor to Motorola's Moto G, a low-cost smartphone with a 4.5in screen and the Android OS. Designed primarily for emerging markets, the Moto G has recently launched in the US, with prices starting at US$179 (RM579).
