IFA 2013: Our take on Samsung’s announcements (Updated with video)

Both devices also feature a new design with a soft, textured, leather-like finish on the back (it even has “stitching” to make it look like a leather wallet) — this should please users who want a more “grippy” surface than the standard smooth plastic back that Samsung uses in their other Galaxy models.

Overall, Samsung generally delivered with their IFA 2013 presentation — it  updated existing products while introducing an interesting new one, which is a good balance to hit, in my opinion.
