A PROMISE: Pink Floyd announced via their Twitter that if fans stream Wish You Were Here one million times, then the group will have the back catalogue on Spotify. -

Internet radio/streaming service Spotify has promised to unlock the entire back catalogue of legendary prog rock band Pink Floyd provided fans of the band stream Wish You Were Here one million times on Spotify.

The rights to Pink Floyd's music are currently owned by EMI and, even though EMI does have a contract with Spotify, the label has, in the past, been hesitant to make Pink Floyd's entire back catalogue available to listeners via Spotify.
