Epic Games to acquire bankrupt ‘Kingdoms of Amalur’ studio


EPIC Games, developer of the Gears of War franchise and popular Unreal Engine technology, is closing a deal to re-house the recently closed Kingdoms of Amalur studio, Big Huge Games.

Big Huge Games had been under the auspices of ex-baseball star Curt Schilling’s 38 Studios, which shut down during the last week of May amid severe financial trouble.
