The PlayStation Vita is getting YouTube by the end of June, which makes the video streaming site the latest in a series of social plug-ins and unusual free apps for the device.
The YouTube app means that, like iPhone acolytes, Vita users will be able to get around their device’s lack of native support for Flash technology, which the standard YouTube website leans on.
Skype, Facebook, and Nico Nico Video have already been added since the portable’s introduction.
Free Paint Park joined them mid-April, with Treasure Park and Wake Up Call promised in the coming months and Travel Bug, Imaginstruments and Ecolibrium also recently announced. — Relaxnews 2012
