Good showing at GoMobile 2012

PETALING JAYA: Mobile-application developers took centre stage at the recent GoMobile 2012 conference and exhibition, where they had the opportunity to showcase their products and take in advice from experts.

The conference attracted more than 200 delegates who benefitted from listening to the strong line-up of speakers from various countries.

Jari Tammisto, global head of Mobile Monday, led the powerful contingent of international speakers who shared insights into the latest mobile industry trends.

Local speakers, includes Datuk Badlisham Ghazali, chief executive officer of the Multimedia Development Corp, U Mobile chief technology officer Too Tian Jen, and Toh Swee Hoe, special functions officer at the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission.

More than 100 mobile applications were showcased at the event’s AppCity event — a platform for Malaysian app developers to showcase their products.

This year’s event also welcomed developers from the Philippines, Thailand, South Korea, Pakistan and India.

GoMobile is an annual event that aims to promote the mobile lifestyle.
