MANY organisations are overlooking PC power management (PCPM) despite the cost savings it can deliver, according to a report by technology analyst firm Ovum.
The company found that average power consumption savings of 40% are being ignored, in part due to fear from information technology (IT) departments that PCPM solutions may disrupt core IT operations.
