Microsoft has launched the Touch Mouse, a new multi-touch device designed and optimised for Windows 7 users.

Equipped with BlueTrack Technology and a Nano transceiver, the buttonless mouse features gesture-style commands with one, two or three fingers in addition to the traditional point and click.

One finger allows users to scroll 360° through the document they’re in. Two fingers will allow them to manage an active window and perform tasks such as maximising and minimising windows or shifting them left or right.

Three fingers allow users switch between different tasks or clear all open windows. A flick of the thumb allows users to move forward and back in programs such as Internet Explorer, PowerPoint, and Windows Photo Viewer.

The Touch Mouse, which has a worldwide three-year limited warranty, is now available at recommended retail price of RM269.
