PETALING JAYA: Epson has introduced its new ME series and B series business inkjet printers.
The ME or “Max Exonomy” series printers are targeted at small-medium businesses. The series is split between the entry-level Epson ME 320 and mid range ME Office 960FWD all-in-one models.
The ME 320 is suited for small home offices with low print volume that need to print, copy and scan. It can produce fast print speeds of up to 28 A4 pages per minute (ppm) for monochrome and 15ppm for colour prints in draft mode.
The printer can also produce 4 x 6in photos as well as duplicate documents at copy speeds of 11 seconds per page for monochrome and 38 seconds for colour documents.
Meanwhile Epson’s ME Office 960FWD is an all-in-one that offers print, copy, scan and fax functions. Additionally, it comes with advanced features such as WiFi and Ethernet connectivity, built-in duplex printing and a high capacity front-loading paper tray.
In draft print mode it has a print speed of 38ppm for both mono and colour prints.
Doing the business
Epson’s higher end B510DN business inkjet printer is a heavy duty print machine that is able to network via LAN with multiple computers for shared printing, the company said.
It offers high print speeds of up to 37ppm and supports high-capacity ink cartridges for large volume printing. Epson said the printer is more energy efficient as it consumes less energy than a colour laser printer.
All the printers have a maximum print resolution of 5,760 x 1,440 dots per inch and use Epson’s Micro Piezo print head technology for greater detail and smooth gradations in photos.
The printers also use Epson’s DURABrite Ultra pigment ink, designed to produce smudge-, fade- and water-resistant prints.
The Epson ME 320, Epson ME Office 960FWD and Epson B510DN are available now at RM268, RM899 and RM1,878 respectively.
