Hewlett-Packard and Cartoon Network have teamed up for the second time for the Toon Creator Awards 2010.
The Toon Creator Awards is a contest for kids aged six to 14 from all over Asia to create their own ending for a given 25-second animation using tools provided on the Toon Creator website.
Contestants can also play various missions and games on the website to unlock special items which can be used to complete their animations.
The Toon Creator Awards are available in two categories, namely schools and individual entries.
The best individual country winners each stand to win an HP Touchsmart PC (worth RM4,988) and Cartoon Network prize packs.
Individual country winners will automatically qualify for the regional competition, and stand to win a HP digital home makeover worth about US$2,000 (RM6,600), Ben 10 Quad Bike and have the winning entry broadcast on the Cartoon Network.
On the school level, the largest number of entries for a particular school will win the school three HP desktop PCs.
The Toon Creator Awards runs from July 1 to October 3, 2010.
