Directory of bumiputra Tech, ICT companies to be launched

PETALING JAYA: MSC Malaysia and the Malaysian Association of ICT Industry and Entrepreneurs (NEF) will be launching the Bumiputra Technology & ICT Directory 2010/2011 by the end of next month.

The directory will be the first in Malaysia to list bumiputra-owned companies that are in the Technology and ICT (information and communications technology) industry.

Entries will be divided into Software, Hardware, and e-Business technologies, in addition to verticals such as Post Production, Production Houses, Creative Multimedia, Website Designers, and IT Freelancers.

The objective of this directory is to show the rise of bumiputra companies in those areas of industry, and to give an overview of these successful businesses in Malaysia and the world.

It will be available online, in print, and in CD form, which will be distributed by the NEF, MSC Malaysia and other associations, such as the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, and SME Corp Malaysia, which provides information and advisory services for all small and medium enterprises in the country.
