A courtroom drama set aboard a lost spacecraft, a neon-coloured romp through creature-crammed caves, and a psychic-powered psychological thriller are part of a PC game giveaway that lasts until Feb 2.
The PC-gaming Humble Store is giving away six titles until Feb 2 as a playable peek into its Humble Originals trove intended for subscription members.
Among them, colourful 2D puzzle-solving platformer Uurnog
was recently released as Uurnog Unlimited
on PC and Nintendo Switch and received two Independent Games Festival Awards nominations at the turn of the year.
Well-received coffee-sipping sci-fi spoof 2000:1: A Space Felony
riffs on elements from Arthur C. Clarke's classic and has its player conduct an investigation into a suspect spaceship-commanding AI named MAL.
moves the mystery to the desert highway and includes an homage to another storytelling great, Alfred Hitchcock; Cat Girl Without Salad
acts as the prelude to a new franchise from Shantae
Finally, Crescent Bay
involves a criminal case and a player character who can make ethereal connections with the ghosts of the past, while job simulator THOR.N
merges birthday celebration and citizenship challenge – both are from Advect Productions, whose founders worked on polished indie hits Ether One

These six free Humble Originals don't activate on Steam, Origin, UPlay, Battle.net or any other proprietary client.
As is the case with the rest of the Humble Trove of original games, there's no Digital Rights Management tech acting as copy-protection. Instead, interested parties can sign in, download, and play.
Since the Trove's launch in June 2017, Humble has been offering an expanding collection of DRM-free games to subscription members of the Humble Monthly bundle, which for US$12 (RM47.50) a month (less for longer-term commitments) delivers nine or ten games every month plus a store discount for any additional purchases. — AFP Relaxnews
