Bitcoin soared above US$50,000 (RM201,750) for the first time Tuesday as corporate heavyweights increasingly back the world's most popular virtual currency.
At around 12.35 GMT, bitcoin hit an all-time high of US$50,547.70 (RM203,959.97), marking a 4.4% gain since Monday.It later stood at US$49,213.54 (RM198,576.63).
