THE “Queen of Porcelain”, Datin Lynda Ghazzali, will be launching her new series of hand-painted porcelain pieces in a collection titled “How I Met You” in a grand way come this May.
“There will be a private exhibition during the day followed by a Royal Charity Gala Dinner with Hawa Ghazzali Holdings (HGH) at night.
The event will be attended by high profile personalities including members of Malaysian and foreign royalty, who are among my international clientele,” she said at a press conference recently.

More than 100 pieces of artwork such as vases and plates will be presented that day while items that will be sold include the dinner sets from the tables at the gala dinner.
Apart from the auction to raise money for charity during the dinner, fashion shows will also be held including one by local designer Jovian Mandagie.
According to Lynda’s husband Datuk Ali Ghazzali, who is founder and group chief executive of Hawa Ghazzali Holdings, each piece has a specific story behind it.
Lynda added that she put her feelings into her art and the new collection documented her experiences with people whom she had met.
Graduating from the Oxford University with a bachelor’s degree in art, the painter built a porcelain empire based on her unique talent before becoming the resident artist for HGH as well as the vice-chairman and chief creative officer.
“I will be announcing the final details of the event in mid- April,” she said.
