Artisense Webtech B2B portal a boon for businesses

KUALA LUMPUR: Local business-to-business (B2B) trade portal and software developer Artisense Webtech Sdn Bhd is confident its e-commerce business-matching platform and technology will boost their e-commerce trading for Malaysian businesses and to help them compete efficiently in the global market. 

Artisense Webtech, a MSC Malaysia-status company established slightly over a year ago, has successfully carved a niche market by providing Malaysian exporters invaluable leads through its trade portal to source for international buyers from more than 200 countries. 

Its corporate and business development director, Yik Swofino, said Artisense Webtech’s B2B portal had registered an average of 600,000 hits daily, with more than RM5mil trade transactions conducted each month among its 15,000 members worldwide. 

Yik said Artisense Webtech’s primary objective was to promote and encourage the sale of Malaysian-made products and services worldwide through the Internet in which e-commerce is fast becoming an important and effective marketing tool. 

Artisense Webtech will be participating in the inaugural International Trade Malaysia 2007 (Intrade Malaysia 2007) exhibition in November. Yik said this would provide a constructive platform for his company to promote its services to the world. 

About 300 companies will take part at the four-day Intrade Malaysia 2007 organised by Malaysia External Trade Development Corp from Nov 12 to 15 in Kuala Lumpur. – Bernama
