Astro empowers SME growth with RM3mil rewards campaign


Astro launched BIZone under AstroBIZ in 2024 to scale marketing support for SMEs.

ASTRO’S BIZone, a simplified pack for food and beverage (F&B) outlets, announced an initiative to bolster the growth of small and medium enterprise (SME’s) F&B outlets.

Astro is turning up the volume in 2025 with the launch of the BIZone Rewards campaign – a powerful initiative crafted to put participating outlets in the spotlight and multiply their foot traffic, visibility and brand value.

BIZone is launching a RM3mil worth marketing support campaign designed to help F&B and commercial outlets multiply their customers and revenue through targeted marketing and promotional rewards.

Since its launch in 2024, BIZone has demonstrated substantial growth, experiencing a 34% year-on-year increase in new customers, significantly outpacing the approximate 5% year-on-year base growth.

With a potential market size of 14,000 establishments, BIZone is steadily gaining traction. This growth in customer acquisition highlights its value as a business solution for F&B and commercial outlets across Malaysia.

Astro enterprise and broadband business head Tan Sian Tuang said, “We recognise the challenges faced by F&B outlets in reaching their target audience and driving business growth.

“Thus, this marketing support campaign is designed to provide them with the tools and resources they need to effectively promote their offerings, increase their visibility, and ultimately, grow their customer base.

“This campaign will enable our customers to gain access to high-impact promotional platforms that are typically out of reach for SMEs.

“From national television exposure to influencer-led reviews and celebrity activations, BIZone is giving businesses the right tools to become local crowd-pullers,” Tan continued.

Rewards to multiply your business

This campaign is open to all F&B and commercial outlets that sign up for, renew or upgrade their BIZone TV pack within the campaign period of April 7 to Oct 7, 2025.

A total of 200 F&B outlets will be selected as winners to receive a share of RM3mil worth of marketing support throughout the campaign period.

Winners selection will take place every month through a draw conducted by appointed Astro representatives.

Eligible outlets stand a chance to gain the following marketing and media support:

>Sports watch party: An all-expense-paid live sports screening experience hosted at the customer’s outlet, designed to draw crowds and turn any match night into a major event.

>Meet and Greet: Appearance by a top-tier celebrity or influencer, generating buzz, footfall and memorable customer experiences.

>Food review: Exclusive content creation by popular food reviewers or social media personality, spotlighting customer’s outlet and reaching thousands of foodies.

>Astro Radio ads: Customer’s outlet featured on any one of Astro’s leading radio stations targeting millions of listeners, thus building awareness across diverse audience segments.

>TV spots: Customer’s outlet showcased on Buletin Awani or Borak SeeNi, tapping into Astro’s extensive national viewership for maximum reach.

With RM3mil in dedicated marketing support and only a simple shift required, BIZone is helping commercial establishments unlock their full potential through the power of smart entertainment.

It also offers fair and transparent pricing tailored to different business types and seating capacity.

BIZone customers will receive an on boarding kit with marketing materials and branding tools designed to enhance their space and brand presence. This campaign ends on Oct 17, 2025.
