TRACING over 80 years of its hair dryer development history, Panasonic is now introducing a new colour variant for its renowned nanoe Hair Dryer EH-NA98, which provides total care for your hair, scalp and even skin.
The company officially launched the new colour variant at a launch event last Tuesday at GMBB Kuala Lumpur, which saw a number of local celebrities and influencers attend, such as Miss Universe Malaysia 2020, Francisca Luhong James.
The hair dryer, now available in Navy Blue, integrates Panasonic’s nanoe technology, which has been highly acclaimed for effects that realise total care of hair, scalp and skin, in addition to hair drying.
As a result, the nanoe Hair Dryer has achieved a cumulative sales volume of more than 20 million units globally as of 2022.
In Skin Care mode, the nanoe Hair Dryer will help make your skin become more moisturised as it aids in retaining moisture.
Moisturises and smoothens hair
Panasonic’s nanoe Hair Dryer uses the unique ultra-fine nanoe technology to penetrate the hair and lock moisture.
Nanoe is basically an invisible mist of nano-sized water particles that are a billion times smaller and contain around 1,000 times the moisture than ions – which are traditionally used in regular hair dryers.
This allows the nanoe technology to penetrate the hair and adjust the water balance, making hair shiny and smooth, as well as aiding in moisturising the scalp to prevent dryness that causes damage to hair.
On top of that, it also suppresses static electricity to tame the flyaway hair, making it more manageable.
Double mineral
Another factor that makes the EH-NA98 model special is that it also releases double mineral ions in addition to nanoe.
These particles firmly tighten the hair cuticle and create damage-resistant hair. By increasing the adhesiveness of the cuticle, they reduce friction damage from brushing, as well as damage from external stimuli such as ultraviolet rays.
The double mineral is essentially mineral ions that are generated by two zinc electrodes.
Hair, scalp and skin
While traditional hair dryers mainly do what its name suggests, the nanoe Hair Dryer from Panasonic goes beyond this narrative, as it is able to care for not just hair, but scalp and skin as well.
In the Scalp Care mode, the hair dryer gently dries the scalp with warm air, set at about 50°C. Panasonic's nanoe technology adds moisture, which mitigates the dryness that contributes to skin stress, resulting in a healthier scalp.
The Skin Care mode, on the other hand, should be used at the end of your drying session, for around one minute. This will make your skin become moisturised as the nanoe technology helps to retain moisture.
Additionally, the hair dryer’s Hot/Cold Alternating mode was developed to automatically switch the airflow between hot and cold air for more lustre in your hair. This temperature gap will mitigate waves, line up the surface of the hair and reflect light to increase hair lustre by approximately 40%.
A built-in ambient temperature sensor also accurately measures the surrounding air temperature to adjust the airflow to a more comfortable temperature for drying, in any season.
Panasonic’s quick-dry nozzle even generates strong and soft airflows to aid in separating hair strands, which increases the exposed surface area for fast drying.
The hair dryer is even able to maintain a perfect balance in terms of air volume, temperature, pressure and the way it is blown, to let you dry your hair quickly, gently and beautifully.
The renowned nanoe Hair Dryer EH-NA98 now comes in Navy Blue.
