PROPERTY developer Aset Kayamas is set to venture into the hospitality industry with the upcoming launch of its Sleeping Lion Suites in Kuala Lumpur on June 1 this year.

As a developer renowned for delivering exquisite residential and luxury high-rise properties in Malaysia, Aset Kayamas has chosen the prime location of Bukit Bintang for its Sleeping Lion Suites, as the area attracts thousands of locals and tourists every day for recreation and entertainment.

A titan in its own right when it comes to building homes for Malaysians in the Klang Valley, Aset Kayamas is set to do the same when it comes to building and furnishing lavish rooms for hospitality guests, with Sleeping Lion Suites marking its first foray in the industry.

“We are thrilled to embark on this new chapter in delivering the best hospitality for both international and local travellers alike,” says Aset Kayamas chairman Tan Sri Chai Kin Kong.

“Since starting our journey in 2011, our company has consistently delivered outstanding and distinguished projects for homeowners in the country.

“So, it makes perfect sense for us to bring this experience to the hospitality industry with the Sleeping Lion Suites and what better place to do it than in Bukit Bintang, which is located right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia’s entertainment district.”

The Sleeping Lion Suites will feature 866 guest rooms with 10 different accommodation types to choose from – from superior rooms for lone travellers and couples, to premier family suites with multiple rooms that cater to large families or groups.

Along with the usual hotel facilities such as infinity pool, gym, sauna and steam room, the hotel boasts a sky bridge for guests to view the stunning Kuala Lumpur cityscape and a “garden of dreams” featuring enchanting flora.

While there is already a lot to look forward to with the upcoming launch of the Sleeping Lion Suites, Chai adds that this is just the beginning, as Aset Kayamas have many exciting developments to offer in the hospitality industry.

‘We are working on a few more hotels and premium accommodations, ranging from three-star to five-star options. We will have more developments in Genting Highlands,’ says Aset Kayamas chairman Tan Sri Chai Kin Kong.‘We are working on a few more hotels and premium accommodations, ranging from three-star to five-star options. “When it comes to our vision in the hospitality business, we are definitely working on a few more hotels and premium accommodations, ranging from three-star to five-star options, so that no one gets left out,” he says.

“Here we have Sleeping Lion Suites that offer a hustle-and-bustle entertainment district experience.

“In the future, we will have more developments in Genting Highlands, offering a more serene and peaceful hospitality experience amidst nature.

“So be it in the heart of the urban jungle or in the wonders of nature, we at Aset Kayamas look forward to hosting you.”
