Immerse yourself in the traditional charms of the slow city of Jeonju

How to get to Jeonju
There are two options to reach Jeonju city with the quicker one by taking the KTX bullet train from Seoul Station and the journey takes approximately two hours. You can also reach Jeonju by coach and it takes less than three hours!
Jeonju Hanok Village is the largest traditional village, housing more than 700 units of such unique houses and hanok roof structures, making the village the primary attraction in Jeonju.
You can travel back to the Joseon dynasty era by renting a hanbok – the traditional garment of Korea – and take a stroll around the beautiful traditional village and try out the traditional games offered there.
Korea Tourism Organization has designated one of its 39 unique venues in Jeonju, naming the Royal Room of King as the perfect venue for event-hosting in the city.

If you are visiting the city in the month of October, you can enjoy the annually hosted Bibimbap Festival and even visit the local farms for seasonal apple and pear fruit-picking activities, in the neighbourhood county of Iksan, 20-minute journey from Jeonju.
