A BEAUTIFUL LIFE

The Louis Vuitton Art de Vivre campaign shot in California includes a selection of leisure products, games, Objets Nomades and accessories.

When it’s about craftsmanship and heritage, Louis Vuitton will come to mind with its iconic trunks, leathergoods, ready-to-wear, watches, jewellery, perfumes amongst others.

With so much history and collaborations, the French luxury brand has developed a whole range of products with futuristic influences but always with a nod to its past.

Evoking a touch of California cool, Louis Vuitton showcases the Art de Vivre collection according to the Maison.

Set in an idyllic estate in Palm Springs, the “art of living” comes alive in Objets Nomades, trunks, accessories and gifting pieces captured in a series of expressionistic images by photographer Matthieu Salvaign and Philippe Lacombe.

Since its creation in 2012, the Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades collection of inventive and functional furniture and objects has expanded to welcome creations by an ever-growing roster of renowned international designers, including Patricia Urquiola, India Mahdavi, Fernando and Humberto Campana, Atelier Oi, Raw Edges, Atelier Biagetti, Frank Chou and Marcel Wanders Studio.

The limited-edition pieces include anything from a nest-like Diamond Sofa by Marcel Wanders studio to a foldable stool by Tokujin Yoshioka that echoes the shape of Louis Vuitton’s Monogram Flower to a leather hammock by Atelier Oi. Each object pushes and surpasses the boundaries of leather to showcase the Maison’s attention to complex craftsmanship and creative innovation.

In 2018, the Objets Nomades were joined by Petits Nomades, a range of smaller decorative, yet functional and beautiful creations by a selection of Objets Nomades designers.

Today, the collection has grown to include a full range of Objets Nomades and Petits Nomades, from swing chairs to mirrors, tables to lamps, stools to sofas.

It’s not Louis Vuitton without its iconic trunks. More than just a covetable piece of luggage, it is an objet d’art, a treasure trove of stories and the foundation upon which the Maison was built.

The revolutionary flat-top trunk created by Louis Vuitton himself in 1858 has since evolved into exceptional creations including a bed trunk created for the explorer Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza in 1874 to Ernest Hemingway’s library trunk in 1927. Recent iterations include the DJ trunk, party trunk, vanity trunk, sneaker trunk and even a casino trunk.

Smaller trunks or boxes are also available to protect your collection of fragrances, prized watches and jewellery, including one for your fresh flowers too. Audiophiles will appreciate the Speaker Trunk, reflecting Virgil Abloh’s love of music.

Another thing Louis Vuitton is known for is its lifestyle products for sports and games. It has literally every sporting object from tennis, football and golf to a cycling helmet, skateboard, dumbbells, jump rope and exercise mats.

If you love games, here’s where you can enjoy a Louis Vuitton game set. Choose from a Billiard Table in Monogram that comes with 16 balls with monogram flowers and two cues wrapped in the iconic Monogram canvas and Epi leather. Other games include ping pong bats, chess set, puzzles as well as a poker set in a Monogram case.

Perfect for the holiday gifting season, there are the most adorable plush Vivienne Doudou, Vivienne and Gaston dolls, music box, vases, cups and plates, chopsticks or straws, watercolour paint box, and even a pizza box.

It has been168 years since Louis Vuitton began exploring new territories and ideas of travel and the Art de Vivre collection can be seen as proof that the House has lost none of its sense of adventure.

A reinterpretation of that essential spirit, each item is an expression of the unique combination of creativity and Louis Vuitton’s unparalleled savoir-faire.
