Panasonic Malaysia launches new range of products to improve total wellbeing
AS our world becomes more technologically advanced over the past century, we seem to move away from sustainable living to one that produces wastes.
Some of these advancements, such as pesticides that were initially meant to protect, ended up causing insidious problems that impact our health and wellbeing later on.
Thanks to the rising awareness of climate change and environmentalism, the way people around the globe live is shifting back towards a more sustainable lifestyle.
This direction is where many businesses are pivoting towards and Panasonic Malaysia has similarly stepped up during the launch of its 45 latest consumer product line-up across categories.
These new products are aligned with its holistic approach, which focuses on three main facets of wellbeing – inner, outer and spatial.
The nine categories include its refrigerators, water purifier, rice cooker, washing machines, home showers, televisions, headphone, vacuum cleaners and ceiling fan.
“Our long-standing mission established by our founder is that our corporation should contribute to society,” said Panasonic Malaysia’s managing director Keisuke Nishida.
“We have seen high awareness among people globally and in Malaysia, prioritising good health, hygiene and wellbeing,” he added.
Inner wellbeing
With consideration on how people can eat better and prepare foods faster, Panasonic’s inner wellbeing starts from the kitchen through healthy eating.
Its new range of Prime+ refrigerators are designed with wellness in mind and features a Prime Freeze function that freeze-blasts food quickly to seal in goodness and freshness, while the Prime Fresh -3° softly freezes fish and meats without turning them into ice blocks.
Its nanoe X is able to inhibit 99.99% of bacteria and deodorise the interior, while neutralising pesticides on fruits and vegetables, rendering it easily washed away during rinsing.
The IH rice cooker helps to reduce sugar consumption as it separates starch from the rice while it cooks, while its Active Enzyme Water Soaking Technology enhances the grain’s sweet taste.
Panasonic’s safe ioniser comes with various functions, among which is able to improve stomach health and approved under the Japan Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act.
Water is thoroughly purified by a high performing cartridge containing an ultrafiltration membrane that even removes viruses. It comes with different pH levels for drinking or face washing.
Outer wellbeing
The range of new Care+ Edition washing and dryers highlight physical hygiene as a focus on outer wellbeing.
The new washers have a feature that eliminates bacteria up to 99.99% during the drying process, using the Hybrid Dry and Hybrid Dry Lite functions.
In addition, the Blue Ag+ combines ultraviolet and silver ions to save electricity while eliminating bacteria from all clothing, while preventing colour fade and shrinkage.
Its new range home showers use antibacterial silver crystals on contact surfaces that also deter the development of black mould.
It has nine safety points that protects against electrical mishaps and more, a digital temperature control and three presets for individualised temperature preference.
Spatial wellbeing
For spatial wellbeing, Panasonic created the best experiential and comfortable living atmosphere at home that is safe and clean, with its range of vacuum cleaners, fan, televisions and audio devices.
Its latest range of vacuum cleaners are equipped with an Advanced Mega Cyclone system, which separates dust and air efficiently, thanks to its seven-layer Hepa filtration system. For extra cleanliness, the whole dust box unit (except the high efficiency particulate air or HEPA filter) is water-washable.
Complimenting this is the nanoe X 5-blade ceiling fan, which uses the nanoe X technology to deodorise lingering odours, inhibit pollutants such as bacteria and viruses, mould, allergens, pollen and hazardous substances.
It also helps moisturise skin especially during hot dry afternoons and under air conditioning.
To enhance the senses, Panasonic’s OLED 4K series are also equipped with superior colour coordination, which was produced with Hollywood filmmakers, allowing cinematic visuals and even superior surround sound, especially for films that support Dolby Atmos or DTS:X formats.
The televisions also have a special Game Mode Extreme that allows gamers lower latency between controls and screen, variable refresh rates and new levels of realism that today’s consoles can provide.
Last but not least are Panasonic wireless digital Bluetooth B100 earbuds, which are ergonomically engineered, with each side fitted with an amazing 13mm dynamic driver to deliver extra bass for unrivalled sound.
It also has an extensive battery life, with a charging cradle that stores enough power for four charges.
New tagline
Anchored by its new brand action tagline "Create Today. Enrich Tomorrow.", Panasonic places high emphasis on enriching holistic well-being and helping people live their best lives through beneficial, high-quality products.
“This new tagline truly represents our goal to enhance the quality of lives of people around the world everyday,” said Nishida.
These 45 new products will be introduced in stages from now till October and each will be separately launched to inform the public of their availability.
They should be available for purchase at all authorised Panasonic dealers as well as online platforms and the marketplace.
