Be well, be healthy

STAYING well and healthy includes being aware of how to protect yourself from ill health and how to keep your body in the best possible condition.

To acknowledge the efforts of World Sight Day and Breast Cancer Awareness Month in creating awareness among the public on the importance of protection for sight and breast cancer, Watsons is launching its Protect Your Eyes and Positively Pinktober health campaigns.

Positively Pinktober is held in collaboration with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) to raise awareness of breast cancer. The campaign features inspiring stories of three breast cancer survivors – Kisah "Must Win" Mazwin, Kim’s "Wonder Woman" Story and Kisah Vanddanasre yang Menginspirasikan to share their positivity and success in battling the disease.

As a plus, customers who purchase from participating brands will able to contribute to a good cause by donating to BCWA.

As part of the campaign, Watsons will be partnering with Star Media Group and Pantai Hospital to run a webinar “Positively Pinktober – Awareness on Breast Cancer” on Oct 30. Open to all, the public is welcome to register for the webinar here.

Breast and endocrine surgery specialist Dr Azlina Firzah Abdul Aziz and Watsons pharmacist Ruby Tay will be on hand explain more about breast cancer and answer any questions the audience may have on the topic.
