Relief for sporting community as prominent venues will remain in Jalan Duta

PETALING JAYA: The local sporting community is among those breathing a sigh of relief after the government successfully set aside a land transfer order involving a key site in Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur.

Apart from housing several government offices and the Federal Territory Mosque, the Jalan Duta area is also home to a major sports complex featuring three prominent venues - the National Tennis Centre, Tun Razak Hockey Stadium and the National Squash Centre, all of which have been in operation since 1982.
