NEW YORK (Reuters) - Young Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas was left drained after losing 6-4 6-3 4-6 6-3 to Russia's Daniil Medvedev in a brutal U.S. Open second-round match played in searing heat on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old 15th seed was outwitted by the unseeded Medvedev in a series of long, intense rallies in blistering conditions on an outside court at Flushing Meadows.
