Frenchman Gasquet, the ninth seed, brushed aside American Bjorn Fratangelo 6-1 7-6(3) 6-3 on Wednesday while Australian 17th seed Kyrgios crushed Dutchman Igor Sijsling 6-3 6-2 6-1.
